Asking

Yes/no questions: ¿Te gusta el cine? ¿Te gustan los perros? ¿Te gusta bailar? Open questions: ¿Qué te gusta hacer? And to ask back: ¿Y a ti?

Answering

Yes: Sí, mucho. or Sí, me gusta mucho. No: No, no mucho. or No, no me gusta. As a reminder: gusta with one thing or activity (Me gusta el café., Me gusta nadar.), gustan with several things (Me gustan los gatos.).

Reacting briefly

Same opinion: Me gusta el café. – A mí también. No me gusta el fútbol. – A mí tampoco. Different opinion: Me gusta el fútbol. – A mí no. No me gusta el café. – A mí sí.

With gustar it is a mí. With other verbs you use yo: Trabajo los sábados. – Yo también. No trabajo los domingos. – Yo tampoco.

Typical mistakes

Not "yo me gusta", but me gusta – or, with emphasis, a mí me gusta. And with several things: Me gustan los perros., not "me gusta los perros".
